Let
me start with the good news of
the season!
We have signed an agreement of sale for purchase of our school land! We hope to start the construction of school building from next month God willing.
...And of course, we need loads of help to build the school building. Any contribution, in any form is welcome. We would be most grateful as this will be a big step towards providing our best to village children coming from economically poor
families!
March saw us engaged in a host of activities with Sports
Day and Picnic the most exciting of all!
Sports day was conducted with great fun, laughter and joy.
Ball games were keenly fought and won... Be it running race, snail race, potato race or lemon and spoon race, it was nothing but merry making whole day long!

Finally, April saw the final exams with every student doing his best. Again, the exams are only for the teachers to know where each student stands and where we need to concentrate. Students have done really well and deserve a special appreciation for their effort.
Last day of the school witnessed a memorable picnic to crocodile park followed by
felicitation of all students for the hard work during the year.
Not to forget, every teacher and every staff member also received
mementos from
Mr. Nandkumar on the
occasion.

Its summer time and children are in no mood to come out of the vacation mode.
The highlight of this month is the Summer Camp conducted by the students of NUS and

Only if teachers have had this luxury! The teachers have been through a teacher training programme conducted at the IIT Chennai, brought to us by our long time friends - Chetana. Teachers are all set and fully refreshed for the next academic session. The syllabus has been set for the term. All the text books, note books have been bought. Karate classes have been planned by Senseii Ravi Krishnano to
train our young ones.
Let’s help the young ones to make the best use of them.
Our greatest challenge in the ensuing months is the construction of our school building.
The Armenian Church had come forward in a big way and ensured our purchase of land for the school. Yogoda Satsanga Society of India has been ever with us, helping us with funds for both the land and for the start of our school building construction. UWCSEA Singapore have once again come forward in our hour of need and have pledged a handsome amount towards the construction of our school building. Mr Thanu Kumar has promised to take care of an entire classroom.
We have no words to express our gratitude on behalf of our children. Your love has ensured permanency to our school. This means real help to hundreds of deserving
but under privileged children. Thank you all for making this dream a reality for the children. We have plenty of work ahead and I am sure we will rise to greater heights through your loving participation.
